I am a full-time graduate student, so I have the summer free to care for your pet, any day and any time! I am free weekdays and weekends, and I am willing and able to provide care any time of day.

When providing pet care in your home, I will be careful to follow all instructions meticulously. I understand that not all pets will require extensive attention, especially in their own space where they have an established routine and practices. I will try to disrupt these routines as little as possible, so that your pet has very little disruption to their every-day expectations.

I would like to know the usual activity level of the dog, things that may scare or make the dog uncomfortable, their favorite places to play and go on walks, and how they act when they’re happy and feel safe. For cats, I like to know similar things: what is their usual activity level, how can I make them feel as safe as possible, and what is anything that may make them uncomfortable.

I consider myself an active person and enjoy being outside, with either cats or dogs. I’ll play with them with their favorite toys and run around until we both drop! For less active dogs, I can provide short bursts of activity and longer periods of rest. For cats, I know activity is still important, but the activity level will depend on the cat.

I have owned and cared for cats my entire life, including senior cats and kittens. I genuinely enjoy meeting and caring for cats of all types and personalities. My goal is to provide stress-free care for your pet. I pride myself in my ability to anticipate a pet’s needs, and give them the space, respect, and attention that they require.

Sophia is a skilled and reliable animal caretaker, and comes highly recommended by me and my cats. They absolutely adore her, and in turn she loves them like her own. She has a wealth of experience raising and training animals, and is overall an exceptionally responsible individual. You can trust that she will provide excellent care to your animals, with their health, happiness and well-being always in mind. I take comfort in knowing that my boys will be in compassionate, safe hands with Sophia while I am away.
Sophia has been taking care of her own pets since she was a little girl. She is comfortable around both cats and dogs, as well as other types of pets. She is a great pet sitter!
Out of everyone I know, Sophia is the person who loves cats the most. She cares about them so deeply and is a very responsible cat owner. She has even taught her cats many tricks, like jumping onto a stool and spinning in a circle. She is an amazing pet caregiver, and she is very responsible.
