I’m currently at home from school and working part time with rover. I am available most days of the week due to my being home right now and since I’m only working through rover I am available any time of the day to go to your pet. However, I often have several dogs to walk daily and have other obligations, so if I’m pet sitting for someone I can’t be there all the time during the day. I do always make time to come back and check on the pet for at least 30 minutes several times a day, along with spending the night.

When caring for pets at a clients home, I’d first want to introduce myself to the animal and let them get comfortable with me. I wouldn’t push them to trust me by trying to engage with them, I’d wait for them to warm up to me. I would provide all the required care for the pet, while also providing a comforting presence for that pet. I’ll play with your pet and take them on walks if needed and let them cuddle with me!

If your dog pulls on the leash and is hyperactive, please let me know beforehand. I can’t walk larger dogs who are going to pull hard on the leash the whole walk. I also need to know whether or not you need me to be there all day for a pet sitting booking, since I am not able to do that. Let me know if your dog has any specific needs in their care ahead of time so that I can be prepared.

I’d take the dogs on walks and go to a nearby park for them to play at. I would also take the dog in the backyard or dog park if the owner wants or allows that. With any pets, I’d give them lots of love and play with their toys with them.

I’ve been around cats my whole life through family and friends. I have also fed strays in the neighborhood and used to volunteer at a shelter. I have also been a cat sitter for family friends various times and have always loved cats.

Great stay with Oscar and Charley! Communicated well with us throughout our trip and we never worried about our guys.
Courtney has watched our pair of bulldogs on a few occasions, most recently while we were out of country for 2 weeks. They’re both of advanced age and one of them needs to be watched carefully to ensure they’re going out for potty. She also needs to be carried down a few stairs each time. On the few occasions there was an accident inside (this was to be expected), Courtney cleaned up the mess and there was no evidence of the accident. She spent reasonable time with them and sent us photos while we were out of country. She is very communicative and responsible. I’d highly recommend Courtney for any pet sitting jobs.
